Dear Interested Senior Experience Students, Parents, and Partners:

Senior Experience offers an independent study for members of the Class of 2016 who wish to investigate potential careers in either a paid or volunteer capacity. Additionally, the program aspires to work cooperatively with area businesses in fields such as law, finance, medicine, the arts, teaching, and many others to provide a hands-on learning experience.

During the internship, the students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with a specific field of employment while receiving credits for graduation.  The Ewing Township Board of Education provides insurance to cover each student at the job site.

Ewing High School’s Senior Experience Program is a partnership which benefits the student and the community.  Local businesses and organizations receive someone who will provide them with valuable assistance, and the student learns about a particular career while developing the skills necessary to become successful in the workforce.  This reciprocal relationship is a working model of community development and civic responsibility.
